Box that belonged to Nurse Edith Cavell. It is crudely hinged and lined with patterned paper. The box is addressed to Miss Cavell and was sent when she was teaching in Brussels in 1912. It has been stamped Dieppe and is marked fragile. It was probably used by her for writing upon and some of her personal effects were stored inside.
